Grind Order is a taskbar idle RPG: a tiny pixel hero fights, loots and levels on top of your taskbar while you work, in a living online world.
A thin strip above your taskbar. Your hero fights, mines and loots on its own, and you can take over by hand any time.
An online world where everyone on your map fights the same monsters and bosses. Team up with friends for bonus experience.

Every zone ends with a boss that opens the way to the next, from sunny meadows down to the Ember Core.

Short timed runs, solo or with a party. Fill the gauge, beat the guardian, go one depth deeper. Depth never ends, the twists pile up, and the leaderboard is about how far you get. Past the level cap, experience keeps counting.
Party dungeons for small groups, played by hand: read the boss, step out of the fire, break the seals. Weekly chests, unique gear sets and fresh quests every week.
Mining, smithing, herbs, potions, fishing, cooking and more. Nobody is locked to a class.
Every piece of gear has scroll slots and star upgrades. Play it safe, or push your luck.
Team up for bonus experience, peek at other players' gear, and chat.
Bosses wind up, slam and summon. Auto handles the easy ones; the hard ones want you.
Let the hero play itself, or press Q and steer with the keyboard. Same character, your call.
Fresh quests every week, a weekly chest, titles and rift leaderboards.
A quiet pond, a fishing mini-game and meals that buff the hero. The calm part of the day.
Shrink it to just the hero walking on your taskbar. Click-through everywhere else.
Light on your CPU, with a battery saver that drops the frame rate when you are not looking.
Barely. The game is light on your CPU, and the battery saver lowers the frame rate when the window is out of focus or the hero is just standing around.
Pricing is not final. The waitlist hears first, and there will be a way to try it before you spend anything.
No, Grind Order is online only. The server owns your hero, your loot and the shared world, so loot means something and your friends are always there.
No offline progress: your hero grows while the game runs. It is light enough to leave running all day.
Windows and macOS first, as a thin always-on-top strip over your taskbar or Dock. Mobile (Android and iOS) is on the roadmap. You can try the test build in your browser today.
The strip is click-through except for the parts you touch, and mini mode shrinks it to just the hero. We make no promises about your boss.
